The most popular dance clubs in the city are Club Essential, Roxy, Pulse, and Nautilus. You can have a great time dancing the night away to many different music styles and with many different people. Unfortunately, some tourists have reported being the victims of price fixing scams so mind your dealings while attending these clubs.
For a different kind of atmosphere, try some of the local pubs and bars. These places offer good music along with some areas for dancing and realistically priced drinks. The best reason to party at a pub or bar is that they don’t have the same reputation as the dance clubs for ripping off tourists. If you are feeling lucky, there are an abundance of casinos dotted all over Riga. Most of them only have slot machines, but there are a few that offer table games and poker. There are a lot of strip clubs in Riga but they are best to be evaded due to some reports of shady business practices toward tourists.
